Story: ‘Star Wars’: Disney chief promises movies every year starting in 2015 - Los Angeles Times

Disney Chairman Alan Horn is determined! At CinemaCon, he said that we will see a new "Star Wars" movie every year beginning in 2015! That would be something, wouldn't it? The new trilogy would alternate with spin-off movies. So, the new trilogy would be due in 2015, 2017 and 2019.

J.J. Abrams has said he wants more time, and would want a 2016 or 2017 release date for his "Episode VII." This should get interesting as we see if the suits or the talent gets their way!
